During the inspection conducted on 4 April 2024, Central Valley Water Board staff observed that proper erosion and sediment control had not been installed on tractor roads within the project area resulting in actual and threatened discharges of waste to several Class II and Class III watercourses. Erosional features in the form of rills and gullies were documented on the tractor roads and were observed to have previously discharged sediment to several receiving Class II and Class III watercourses. During the inspection conducted on 4 April 2024, Central Valley Water Board staff observed areas where heavy equipment operated within the standard width of the watercourse and lake protection zone of two Class II watercourses resulting in actual and threatened discharges of waste to the associated Class II watercourses. |
