1124334 01/17/2024 Order Conditions Board staff observed an intentional unauthorized discharge of compost leachate beyond the permitted boundary of the facility. Central Valley Water Board staff observed an individual monitoring a pump, which was placed into a large pond of compost leachate along the western side of the 10 acre final product storage area. The pump was connected to a hose line that extended from the pond, over the top of run-on/off control road, and was discharging compost leachate onto an adjacent field just west of the 10 acre final product storage area. The attached 17 January 2024 Inspection Report documents this intentional unauthorized discharge of compost leachate.
