Deficient Monitoring |
We regret to inform the Board that we are submitting, via CIWQS, a permit violation for deficient monitoring for the month of July. Plant staff inadvertently failed to collect and test for monthly Oil & Grease and Ammonia from the Final Effluent (EFF-001) as required in the MSD NPDES permit. We do, however, have Oil & Grease data from upstream of the final effluent sample point, at the Secondary Clarifier Effluent for three separate days in July which were collected for process control. All three sample results were below the Reporting Limit (RL) of 5.0 mg/L. Regarding Ammonia, we do not have a limit for the analyte in our permit. The range for the last 12 samplings is 0.13 to 0.43 mg/L. |
