1113955 01/11/2023 CAT1 Total Suspended Solids (TSS) 7-Day Average (Mean) limit is 45 mg/L and reported value was 56.4 mg/L at EFF-001. MSD is taking corrective action by repairing and possibly relocating sewer mains located alongside creeks to prevent excess I & I caused during heavy rain events. Violation U eSMR
1107593 07/01/2022 DMON We regret to inform the Board that we are submitting, via CIWQS, a permit violation for deficient monitoring for the month of July. Plant staff inadvertently failed to collect and test for monthly Oil & Grease and Ammonia from the Final Effluent (EFF-001) as required in the MSD NPDES permit. We do, however, have Oil & Grease data from upstream of the final effluent sample point, at the Secondary Clarifier Effluent for three separate days in July which were collected for process control. All three sample results were below the Reporting Limit (RL) of 5.0 mg/L. Regarding Ammonia, we do not have a limit for the analyte in our permit. The range for the last 12 samplings is 0.13 to 0.43 mg/L. To prevent this from occurring in the future we are implementing a ¿flag¿ warning in our LIMS system to display a visual signal when monthly samples have yet to be collected. Violation B eSMR
