Order Conditions |
Evidence of amounts of leachate ponding by the feed storage area was observed. The animal confinement area (including corrals) and manure and feed storage areas must be designed and maintained to convey all water that contacted animal wastes or feed to the wastewater retention ponds and to minimize standing water as of 72 hours after the last rainfall and the infiltration of water into the underlying soils, as required by Production Area Specification D.6. |
On 9 April 2020 subsequent to the inspection, Ms. Christina Medeiros submitted photographs as evidence to show that the standing water observed during the inspection was removed. |

Order Conditions |
Wastewater storage pond does not have a pond depth marker at the time of inspection. This condition is a violation of Pond Specification C.3 that specifies Ponds designated to contain the 25-year, 24-hour storm event runoff must have a depth marker that clearly indicates the minimum capacity necessary to contain the runoff and direct precipitation from a 25-year, 24-hour storm event. |
On 9 April 2020 subsequent to the inspection, Ms. Medeiros submitted photographs as evidence of installed pond depth marker. |
