S887741 12/12/2023 SW - Deficient BMP Implementation On December 12, 2023, Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board (Santa Ana Water Board) staff conducted a compliance inspection of the South Gate Engineering LLC industrial facility located at 13477 Yorba Ave in the City of Chino. Santa Ana Water Board staff made the following observations during the inspection: Training log did not include stormwater or the SWPPP as a topic. No inspection records were available for review. Recent samples were not analyzed for iron. Site map did not reflect storage areas throughout the facility. Pink sand scattered outdoors near blasting area. Leak behind a wall on the east side of the building. Bucket overflowing with a cloudy liquid and formed a puddle in the surrounding area.
