Groundwater |
Based on the groundwater data, it appears that the operation of this facility may have degraded groundwater. Nitrate, Total Dissolved Solids, and electrical conductivity are significantly higher, and in some cases trending up, in monitoring well MW-1. Most notably, nitrate (as N) concentrations have exceeded the primary Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) of 10 mg/L in eight of the last ten samples. In the 4th quarter 2017 and 1st quarter 2018 nitrate was detected at over 20 mg/L in two of the four monitoring events. This is a violation of the NOA. |
