Staff observed the chlorine analyzer to be broken at the recycled water tank. At the time of the inspection Staff noticed that the effluent sampling point, which is a pipe connected to the recycled water tank, was leaking and dripping onto the surface. The pipe appeared to be completely covered in black tape to prevent leaks, but this did not stop the flow. At the time of the inspection the screw press at the headworks, which is described in finding 8 of the Order R7-2016-0032 as a compactor, was found to be broken and non-operational. |
