The contact time for chlorine contact basin dropped below 450mg-min/L for 11 minutes. The on-call operator received an alarm for low effluent chlorine residual, and they made an adjustment. The alarm was latched preventing a second call out when the contact time started to drop. (limit 450mg-min/L alarm setpoint 460mg-min/L) |
