1141698 02/04/2025 Deficient Monitoring On February 2, 2025, in preparation for the pending rain events, CMSA staff increased the flow weighted pulse count on a 24-hour composite sampler from 15 pulses to 30 pulses. Historical blending conditions due to rain events result in total flow conditions of 30-60 MG. However, on February 4, 2025, during a storm event, CMSA experienced significantly elevated blending flows of 84.8 million gallons. During this sample event, the flow weighted composite sample collected samples from 00:00 to 13:49. This composite sample collection does not meet the 24-hour Composite Sample requirements outlined in CMSA¿s NPDES Permit Order #R2-2023-006, Attachment G, Section 8.3, which resulted in a non-representative Blended Effluent (EFF-002b) sample collection.
