SW - Deficient BMP Implementation |
Failure to implement BMPs to control the off-site tracking of sediment, keep debris or trash in waste containers, cover waste disposal containers, secure and contain concrete washout areas and other washout areas that may contain additional pollutants to minimize discharge into the underlying soil and onto surrounding areas, contain fuel, grease, and oil from vehicles leaking into the ground, immediately clean leaks from vehicles, implement effective wind erosion control, minimize the disturbance of steep slopes, initiate stabilization for disturbed areas whenever earth disturbing activities ceased on any portion of the site and will not resume for a period exceeding 14 calendar days, stabilize all construction entrances and exits to sufficiently control erosion and sediment discharges from the site, install linear sediment controls along the toe of the slope, face of the slope, and at the grade breaks of exposed slopes, maintain and protect all storm drain inlets, maintain, repair, and/or implement design changes to BMPs after identification of failures or other shortcomings, have a QSP or delegate verify all BMP maintenance and repairs were appropriately implemented, and update the contact information for the Legally Responsible Person in SMARTS when the Legally Responsible Person changes. |
