1136642	10/30/2024	Order Conditions	The SRTTP recycled water pump station #1 discharge pipeline had a 17,982 gallon spill that began on 10/30/2024, 1330 hours and ended the same day at 1530 hours. The spill occurred due to a break/failure at a 16 inch HDPE recycled water pipe elbow fitting. The break was isolated between an upstream check valve and a downstream recycled pipeline isolation valve. Staff performing an inspection in the area discovered the spill when liquid was bubbling out of the ground. The liquid ponded and percolated into the ground in the Ysidora Flats Area of the Base. The overflow event was reported to have begun on 8/20/2024 at 0800 and ended on 8/22/2024 at 1400. Contractor operator suspected a leak when low pressure was observed in the pipeline.
