Oil and Grease Daily Maximum limit is 75 mg/L and reported value was 132.5 mg/L at EFF-001. |
The following investigation and root cause analysis strongly indicated that the measurement was due to laboratory error, and was not reflective of the effluent's actual state on 11/9. The analyst involved was issued a written reprimand and the laboratory is implementing the corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Subsequent analyses brought the average monthly value to <23.2 mg/L. |

Surface Water |
Result of 2,142 exceeded the Enterococcus Single Sample maximum limit and we were not able to meet the 30-Day Geometric mean limit of 104 per 100 mL with this result |
We were unable to determine a cause following the investigation for Station D Ocean surface enterococcus results. There were no visual indicators and adjacent sampling stations (300 meters north and south) were within normal range for enterococcus.
The staff immediately scheduled a boat for resampling.
On 12/12/2019, resampled Station D and the Enterococcus result was below detection limits - <10.0 MPN / 100mL |

Enterococci 30-Day Geometric Mean limit is 35 MPN/100 mL and reported value was 86 MPN/100 mL at RSW-A. |
The sanitary survey conducted simultaneously with the regular sampling did not identify elevated Total and Fecal Coliform or Enterococcus levels at either the Zone of Initial Dilution (ZID) or at the Pajaro River mouth. Unable to determine contributing factor but suspect red tide influence. |
