At the time of the event, the failed UPS was bypassed and the SBS pumps were manually started due to the inability to control them remotely. On the same day as the discharge event, the SBS pump station UPS was replaced. A planned action to prevent recurrence of this type of event will be for IEUA staff to evaluate the options to provide redundancy and reliability to the UPS system. Violation U eSMR
