1072063 02/09/2020 SSOS Spill originated from influent screen area and the contact pipe clean out No. 2. The spill discharged to the storm drain and into a small un-named creek tributary to the San Benito River. According to the spill report the spill is estimated to begin on February 9, 2020 at 20:50 and ended on February 10, 2020 at 7:00. Estimated 8,000 gallons spilled and reached a surface water body. County of San Benito Environmental Health Department staff made several attempts to contact emergency personnel but were unsuccessful. On February 10, 2020 National O&M, Chris Chacon of County of San Benito staff cleaned and sanitized surface areas. Bracewell Engineering staff arrived later that day and continued the clean and arranged a septic pumper to haul out sewage. For complete corrective actions see attached NOV. Violation B Report
