E.coli Instantaneous Maximum limit is 400 MPN/100 mL and reported value was 920 MPN/100 mL at EFF-001. |
Even though chlorine dosage was optimal during this period, operators increased the chlorine dosage further to decrease the probability of another failed bacteriological sample. |

Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Percent Removal Percent Reduction limit is 65.0 % and reported value was 58.4 % at EFF-001. |
There is nothing we can do to raise influent suspended solid levels, but we can lower effluent suspended solid levels by raising the chlorine dosage amount. We have raised the chlorine dosage from 19 GPD to 24 GPD. We will continue to closely monitor the situation with a goal of lowering the effluent suspended solid levels. |

Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) (5-day @ 20 Deg. C) Weekly Average (Mean) limit is 65 mg/L and reported value was 74 mg/L at EFF-001. |
No corrective action implemented due to source of fail unknown. The previous BOD violation occurred a year ago in March of 2020. |

Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) (5-day @ 20 Deg. C) Monthly Average (Mean) limit is 45.0 mg/L and reported value was 58.0 mg/L at EFF-001. |
We have since then raised all chemical dosage levels slightly higher. Passed BOD laboratory results that we have received following this fail have demonstrated that these corrective actions were successful. |

Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) (5-day @ 20 Deg. C) Monthly Average (Mean) limit is 45 mg/L and reported value was 120 mg/L at EFF-001. |
Installation of a new valve between the basins and chlorine contact chamber was installed in order to control flows and basin levels which will reduce the amount of sludge infiltration through the weir boards. Operators also fabricated and installed a simple, temporary baffle wall which was placed over Basin 3¿s baffle in order to reduce sludge infiltration through the failed weir boards. Infiltration flow through the failed weir boards was reduced from 40 GPM down to 5 GPM. BOD results that we have received from January 2020 have demonstrated that these corrective actions were successful. |
