The contact chamber was drained and cleaned. Adding a new sample port with reduced flow and turbulence should significantly reduce the chance of surface contaminants or turbulence disturbing the sample when grabbed. A small top wall section was removed to facilitate even surface flow and eliminate stagnant water. |

We collected additional coliform samples as soon as we was notified of the positive sample. We wanted to demonstrate / confirm we was in compliance with our discharge permit. There was no further violations beyond this specific sample.
