Chromium (VI) Monthly Average (Mean) limit is 8.10 ug/L and reported value was 11.5 ug/L. |
WSP recommended the following actions to prevent further non-compliance:
- Replace media in the lag 1 and lag 2 ion exchange resin vessels with a higher pH tolerance media. The system operator is expecting to receive a new resin to implement into the dewatering system by January 2024.
- If an acceptable monthly average concentration cannot be reached, WSP recommends considering implementing treatment for hexavalent chromium.
