1100913 12/13/2021 OEV pH Instantaneous Maximum limit is 8.5 SU and reported value was 9.81 SU. As a corrective measure, the Discharger found that the source of increased pH was a result of a concrete slab that poured over the entirety of the excavation on December 11, 2021. Rainwater entering the excavation contacted freshly poured concrete before infiltrating and being pumped into the treatment system. As influent pH is expected to remain high until water proofing is installed, citric acid will be used to reduce pH on a temporary, batch basis. The Discharger will submit a modified NOI to the Water Board to request this change. Written approval, via email, was provided on December 16, 2021. Violation B Report
