1080460 08/28/2020 CAT2 Chromium (VI) Total Recoverable Maximum Daily (MDEL) limit is 10 ug/L and reported value was 19 ug/L. Sampling of the pre-treatment tank showed that elevated CrVI loads originated from site ponds affected by tieback grouting operations which concluded on September 10, 2020. When these operations ceased, CrVI concentrations in site ponds reduced significantly. The Discharger aims to continue monthly sampling as required by the permit, discuss dewatering and site operations with onsite contractors whose work my affect treatment efficiency, and collect samples from the pre-treatment system to identify suspected sources of contamination of concern entering the treatment system.
