Total Coliform 7-Day Median limit is 2 MPN/100 mL and reported value was 4.1 MPN/100 mL. |
The operators were directed to inspect and clean the effluent wet well which involved a separate chlorine shock. Based on observations, there was no evidence of foreign material or fouled sample lines. The sample line was also cleaned with a chlorine solution to remove potential forging material and to provide a more representative sample.
Plans were made to establish sampling at the end of the Chlorine Contact Basin as the A-8 Sample location

The operators were directed to inspect and clean the effluent wet well which involved a separate chlorine shock. Based on observations, there was no evidence of foreign material or fouled sample lines. The sample line was also cleaned with a chlorine solution to remove potential forging material and to provide a more representative sample.
Plans were made to establish sampling at the end of the Chlorine Contact Basin as the A-8 Sample location |

Total Coliform 7-Day Median limit is 2 MPN/100 mL and reported value was 20.1 MPN/100 mL. |
On 8/21/2019 and continuing through 9/7/2019 a series of coliform tests were positive. The positive hits ranged from 9.7 to 133.3 MPN/100 mL using the Colilert testing method. Once Operations Coordinators were made aware of the ongoing positive tests, a call was made to the RWQCB. In an attempt to diagnose the problem, Operators were directed to begin taking samples in other locations. The samples that were taken at the end of the Chlorine Contact Basin (CCT) starting on 9/3/2019, showed results of <2 MPN/100 mL. The Operators were directed to inspect and clean the effluent wet-well which involved two separate chlorine shocks and draining the wet-well. No evidence of foreign material or fouled sample lines was observed. Arrangements were made to increase the continuous flow from the sample location in hopes of keeping the line clear and providing a representative sample. CCT coliform samples have continued to be collected in tandem with the EFF-002 (A-8) samples since 9/3/2019 and have all been <2 MPN/100 mL. A-8 samples have been <2 MPN/100 mL since 9/19. |
