LCRS readings exceeded the Permit action rate for Chloride (>10,000), Sodium (>10,000), and Specific Conductance (>12,500 μmhos/cm). Violating Board order R6V-2015-0004, WDR section II.D. Table 6. |
The team is continuously observing the chloride, sodium and specific conductance level and water pumped in LCRS to make sure they are in compliance with the permit (Board Order No. R6V-2015-0004). |

GWAT |
Exceeded MCL limits for Arsenic (0.010mg/L or 10 µg/L), Violating Board Order R6V-2015-0004 Section WDR I.4.B.1.a.&b. |
The background arsenic level in monitoring wells (GW-02, GW-03, GW-04, GW-06 and GW-07) were near or above 10 ug/L in the initial operation period (2013 to 2016). The arsenic sampled in 2020 third quarter were similar to the level in the initial operation period. Please refer to Appendix A for the highlighted background arsenic levels. We will include this observation in the future reports. |

Order Conditions |
VZMS readings exceeded the Permit action rate for Chloride (>5,000), Sodium (>5,000), and Specific Conductance (>12,500). Violating Board order R6V-2015-0004, WDR section II.D. Table 6. |
LCRS and VZMS were pumped monthly and calculated leakage rates for each pond did not show evidence of
exceeding the permit`s action leakage rate of 15.6 gallons per day per day. On 16 January 2020, Discharger pumped 10.5 gallons from VZMS (Pond 7) which was placed out of service until further notice. Jacobs has developed an action plan to further examine Pond 3, 5 and Pond 7 accordingly. Discharger will report progress on the following quarterly report. |
