TPH C13-C22 Daily Maximum limit is 100 g/day and reported value was 267 g/day at EFF-006. |
As a protective measure, Sentinel Peak Resources will attempt not to draw down stormwater too low within the basins at the end of a discharge event. We may also assess the water turbidity within the activated carbon vessels and compare it to the initial turbidity within the vessels at the onset of treatment. If much greater elevated turbidity levels are experienced, the activated carbon filters would be backwashed with the intent to expose adsorption sites to improve TPH capture. This activity would follow a completed discharge event. If the source of non-compliance can be more definitively determined, a further plan to eliminate or minimize the potential for non-compliance will also be formulated. |

Sentinel Peak Resources will confer with our contract laboratory concerning laboratory blank sample contamination and will make sure that sample bottles are cleanly managed, and the sample port is kept clean while filling bottles. TPH compliance achieved with the subsequent sample set obtained on January 22 also affirms that the treatment system is working effectively. If the source of non-compliance can be more definitively determined, a plan to eliminate or minimize the potential for non-compliance will also be formulated. |
