Nitrate, Total (as N) Instantaneous Maximum limit is 10 mg/L and reported value was 11 mg/L. |
From the report ~
"We plan to start replacing the wood chips in the anoxic wetlands
on a yearly basis. Wood chips aid in denitrification. The Operation
& Maintenance (O&M) manual suggested not removing wetland
grasses over the wood chips, creating a discrepancy, as removing
these grasses is necessary to replace the wood chips. The wetland
grasses could also be a minor contributing factor to the
Nitrate/Total Nitrogen exceedance in the groundwater. We will
also implement full pumping of the recirc tank and thorough
cleaning of the effluent sample discharge pipe before sampling.
- Reached out the Laboratory requesting that they provide Chloride
results for MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3" |
