Contractor hit a water main, filled the sewer trench with potable water, overwhelmed downstream existing 12" sewer pipe. Over capacity occurred and backed up into the MH and briefly overflowed into the dirt around the MH. caused 320.0 gallons of sewage to spill from Manhole at J5-037-SM to Unpaved surface;SSO absorbed into 1/2" of compacted soil.
