Repaired Facilities or Replaced Defect. - Supervisor quickly started secondary pump restoring operation and stopping the overflow on 1/3/26 at 9:20 AM.
- Immediately placed dirt to stop sewage from continued flowing into the culvert that leads to Arroyo creek.
- Brought vacuum truck to recover about 93 gallons of sewage from the ponding in the dirt.
- Notified Cal OES. Notification # 26-0043. Also, notified W&S and PWA chain of command, as well as City of Moorpark.
- Rain For Rent arrived on 1/3/26 at 11:10 AM to repair primary pump. Both pumps are in auto when left site at 4:50 PM.
- Took samples from arroyo water for testing per permit requirements.
- Ensured warning signs along Arroyo are still in place. |

Plan Rehabilitation or Replacement of Sewer. Planning to make permanent repair by constructing a siphon pipeline crossing the Arroyo from upstream manhole to downstream manhole. This will require site visit, geotechnical report, design, CCTV of sewer line to assess pipe condition, environmental permits, budget, bidding, contract award, and construction. |

Grubbed location of broken pipe, excavated location of broken pipe and ordered replacement pipe to make repair. |
