Type: Category 1. Rainfall Exceeded Design, I and I (Separate CS Only);This lift station was covered in by water. The rains caused the Santa Rosa Creak to rise 2 feet 6 inch over the top of the dry well. Once the pumps were submerged, we could no longer pump water at this lift station. We also were unable to access this lift station due to the high flows. caused 176601 gallons of sewage to spill from Pump station;Wet well overflow at Cambria Community Services District lift station B-1 2282 Burton Dr to Surface Water;The spill was in the Santa Rosa Creek. Surface water body affected (Santa Rosa Creek). |
Other (specify below). This spill occurred under water until the creek flow reduced. Then the spill flowed directly into the creek until we could safely enter the lift station area. |

Other (specify below). ;PG&E power failed and the backup generator failed to come on.
Alpha Electrical was called in to fix the generator.
By the time we were able to get a vacuum truck on site the generator was running. |
