Permanent removal of two stop blocks from the manhole to create redundancy in the siphon barrels (completed).
Construction of a new manhole ring and cover to allow easier access (completed).
Installation of remote level monitoring equipment with an automatic call-out feature that alerts wastewater staff if a high-water level is triggered inside the manhole (completed).
Addition of visual inspection of the upper siphon manhole to lift-station rounds, which occur on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (completed).
Collaboration with City staff to update the voicemail message on the City Hall line called by the reporting party. The new message will instruct callers to contact police dispatch to report sewer and water concerns so that the appropriate staff are notified as quickly as possible (goal: 11/1/2025).
Addition of siphon-barrel maintenance cleaning to the semiannual cleaning schedule (completed). |
