1133492 12/18/2023 SSOS Type: Category 1 Spill; Pipe Structural Problem/Failure - Installation, Pump Station Failure - Mechanical caused 9762 gallons of sewage to spill from Force Main, Pump Station at Village Way Lift Station to Surface Water Repaired Facilities or Replaced Defect. Construction crews got to Lift station to locate and dig up the broken force main at 11:30 pm. Construction Crew and Wastewater Collection Crew worked through the night to uncover the broken section of force main. Repairs were done and a new piece of 10” PVC pipe was installed. On 12/19/23 at 8:57am the force main was tested and put back into service. After that construction crew and Collection crew began the process of back filling the excavated areas. Violation A SSO
