Repaired Facilities or Replaced Defect. The MH lid was sealed to the frame and a 30 lb weight placed on top. To help eliminate future spills, a 30 in. diameter pipe, 24 in. in height was place over the lid frame to add an additional 24 in. of head. With the 30 in. pipe in place the temporary pump station will over top before the East side MH. The temporary pump station cannot drain to the creek. |

Order Conditions |
The temporary bypass system operated by MPUD is in violation of Sanitary Sewer Systems General Order No. 2022-0103-DWQ, Section 5.19 Operation and Maintenance, which states: "To prevent discharges to the environment, the Enrollee shall maintain in good working order, and operate as designed, any facility or treatment and control system designed to contain sewage and convey it to a treatment plant." |
Corrective actions proposed by the Discharger are outlined in the attached response letter dated September 20, 2023. |
