Acute Toxicity Other limit is 0 Pass/Fail (Pass = 0, Fail = 1) and reported value was 1 Pass/Fail (Pass = 0, Fail = 1) at NAB-9. |
NAB evaluated the Building 350 facility for potential sources of
toxicity within 24 hours of becoming aware of the exceedance. Additionally, during the ACSCE visit to the Building 350 facility, the site was evaluated for potential sources of toxicity. Concurrent chemistry results from samples collected at NAB Outfall 9 showed elevated copper and zinc concentrations on March 3, 2021. A sweeping BMP (MCV Pilot Project) was performed March 9-11, 2021. |

Acute Toxicity Other limit is 0 Pass/Fail (Pass = 0, Fail = 1) and reported value was 1 Pass/Fail (Pass = 0, Fail = 1) at NAS-CVN18. |
In response to the acute toxicity MDEL exceedance, NASNI evaluated facilities within the drainage basin of Outfall CVN18 for potential sources of toxicity within 24 hours of becoming aware of the exceedance.
At the facilities that drain to Outfall CVN18, no uncontrolled industrial sources were
identified as potential sources of toxicity during the ACSCE.
