1142404 02/13/2025 OEV pH Instantaneous Maximum limit is 8.5 SU and reported value was 8.6 SU at EFF-015. Sampling staff have reviewed/confirmed pH meter calibration procedures and if pH levels are detected outside the acceptable range in future events (i.e., 6.5-8.5), an investigation of potential upstream sources will be conducted to identify any contributing factors, such as materials or activities that may be affecting runoff quality. Violation U eSMR
1126764 01/20/2024 CAT2 Zinc, Total Maximum Daily (MDEL) limit is 1.98 mg/L and reported value was 2.3 mg/L at EFF-015. As the Water Board is aware, the North CAFO Basin (Outfall 14 drainage area) has been completed and SAP is in the process designing/permitting/constructing the South CAFO Basin for the Outfall 15 drainage area. Upon completion of the roof drainage project and construction for the South CAFO Basin, the two CAFO Basins will have the capacity to collect processed wastewater up to 25-year, 24-hour storm event. Violation B eSMR

1115979 02/24/2023 CAT2 Cyanide, Total (as CN) Maximum Daily (MDEL) limit is 22 mg/L and reported value was 28 mg/L at EFF-015. As the Water Board is aware, SAP is in the process of isolating its roof storm drains from comingling with CAFO runoff for both Outfall 14 and 15 drainage areas and designing the South CAFO Basin that overflows to Outfall 15 as summarized the Time Schedule Order (R4-2022-0225) for the site. Currently, the first 0.1 inch of runoff from the existing south CAFO areas (Outfall 15) is discharged to the sewer system under an approved Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (LACSD) permit. The existing north CAFO basin (Outfall 14) that was constructed in 2022 has sufficient capacity to accommodate runoff associated with approximately 3 inches of rain from the north CAFO drainage area which covers the entire CAFO area including the maintenance yard. In accordance with SAP¿s Time Schedule Order, all of the barns and buildings within the CAFO area will be retrofitted to include a dedicated roof drain system that eliminates the co-mingling of roof runoff with the surface area production runoff from the CAFO drainage areas. Upon completion of the roof drainage project and construction for the South CAFO Basin, the two CAFO basins will have the capacity to collect processed wastewater up to the 25-year, 24-hour storm event from the entire CAFO area and stormwater discharges are not expected for events less than the 25-year, 24-hour design storm. Violation B eSMR
1103590 03/28/2022 OEV pH Instantaneous Maximum limit is 8.5 SU and reported value was 8.95 SU at EFF-005. Sampling personnel were instructed to confirm the pH value readings on the meter are stabilized with no fluctuation prior to documenting the pH values. A pH calibration log is maintained onsite to document pH calibration activity prior to use. The site is also equipped with pH paper that can be used for field pH measurements in conjunction with the two pH meters to confirm results. During the next sampling event, staff from GSI Environmental will assist with pH meter calibration and accompany SAP sampling personnel during sample collection and field pH measurements. SAP has engaged GSI Environmental to perform a more in-depth pH source analysis in each of the drainage areas, including collection of surface soil samples for evaluation of pH. Violation B eSMR
1103589 03/28/2022 OEV pH Instantaneous Maximum limit is 8.5 SU and reported value was 9.06 SU at EFF-006.
