An internal investigation concluded the most probable cause of the exceedance was the Aquadisk Filter (ADF) placed online. The ADF was placed online for maintenance and testing from September 9, 2022 through September 13, 2022. 1103479 03/22/2022 OEV Total Coliform Not to exceed a specific limit more than once within any 30-day period. limit is 23 MPN/100 mL and reported value was 33 MPN/100 mL at M-001. An investigation was initiated to determine the probable cause. The Department: reviewed sampling practices and procedures; collected split samples; mitigated intrusion of dust and bird droppings through openings in the UV channels; and performed maintenance of the influent and effluent UV system launders.
