1084045 04/13/2020 CAT2 TCDD Equivalents Monthly Average limit is 0.00000045 ug/L and reported value was 0.0000014 ug/L at EFF-001. In 2008 Scotts Valley had a TCDD violation, it was thought the cause was from two years 2007-2008 of large wild land fires in surrounding area including the Summit Fire. 2019 and 2020 both had high numbers of wild land fires. 1100821 12/01/2019 UAUTHDISC Originally reported as a collection system spill (Spill Event ID 863236, Violation 1067586). Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) failed during heavy rain event causing loss of power to plant effluent pumps causing chlorine contact tank to overflow. Caused 2200.0 gallons of treated secondary wastewater to overflow at WWTP chlorine contact basin to surface water (Camp Evers Creek to San Lorenzo River). Operations staff was able to control flow to limit spill to an estimated 10 gpm until power was restored to effluent pumps. Violation B Report
