Without the screw press operating correctly the plant's solid inventory became very high and backed up the plant causing the clarifiers to operate inadequately. Screw press is fixed and inventory is being processed within good operational parameters. |

In 2008 Scotts Valley had a TCDD violation, it was thought the cause was from two years 2007-2008 of large wild land fires in surrounding area including the Summit Fire. 2019 and 2020 both had high numbers of wild land fires. CZU Lightening fires in the area , and extremely high number of fires in 2019-2020 are thought to be the cause of this violation. |
