1090503 05/06/2021 OEV Enterococci Single Sample Maximum limit is 8300 MPN/100 mL and reported value was 24196 MPN/100 mL at EFF-001. Immediately notified our state liaison of the sample, began accelerated sampling, also discussed sampling technique with the operations staff. Violation U eSMR
1090504 04/10/2021 CAT1 Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Weekly Average (Mean) limit is 45 mg/L and reported value was 63 mg/L at EFF-001D. Contacted state liaison as soon as the lab notified us, started accelerated monitoring, added cl2 to spay water to break up foam layer, added polymer to MLSS to try to get filaments back into solution. We tried HTH to see if that would help but it didn't seem to help. Violation U eSMR
1086659 01/27/2021 CAT1 Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) (5-day @ 20 Deg. C) Weekly Average limit is 45 mg/L and reported value was 75.57 mg/L at EFF-001. We put an additional secondary on line to increase buffering capacity of the high flow to help. I have also discussed turning the air of during high storm flows with our permit liaison, so long as we maintain DO parameters this is another option if we are faced with the same situation. We had to switch to the older basins as we need more buffering volume due to high influent BOD's from previous months. Violation U eSMR
1086660 01/27/2021 CAT1 Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Weekly Average limit is 45 mg/L and reported value was 106 mg/L at EFF-001.
1083388 11/30/2020 CAT1 Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) (5-day @ 20 Deg. C) Monthly Average (Mean) limit is 30 mg/L and reported value was 47.4 mg/L at EFF-001. After the large BOD loads last month we initiated chemically enhanced treatment to both the primary and secondary clarifiers, switched aeration basins to have greater capacity under aeration, switched secondary clarifiers, adjusted aeration, had outside consultants on site, did everything that was within our grasp in order to get the process functional again. Violation U eSMR
1083390 11/07/2020 CAT1 Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) (5-day @ 20 Deg. C) Weekly Average (Mean) limit is 45 mg/L and reported value was 121.71 mg/L at EFF-001.
1083389 11/07/2020 CAT1 Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Weekly Average (Mean) limit is 45 mg/L and reported value was 86.5 mg/L at EFF-001.
1082159 10/31/2020 CAT1 Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) (5-day @ 20 Deg. C) Monthly Average (Mean) limit is 30 mg/L and reported value was 67.3 mg/L at EFF-001D. We started chemically enhanced treatment of the secondary , put the other secondary on line, started shutting off flows during the day to take the peak flows off with the hope that things would settle better with a more consistent flow. Started accelerated sampling of BOD, we hadn't gotten the high number on the TSS till the end of the month. Violation U eSMR
1082161 10/31/2020 CAT1 Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) (5-day @ 20 Deg. C) Weekly Average (Mean) limit is 45 mg/L and reported value was 196.67 mg/L at EFF-001D. We began a chemical drip into the MLSS effluent on 10/27 of ferric chloride to help with settling the secondary blankets down, on 10/28 we acquired a tote of poly from a nearby treatment facility to set up enhanced treatment to the secondary. Violation U eSMR
1082162 10/31/2020 CAT1 Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Monthly Average (Mean) limit is 30 mg/L and reported value was 47.2 mg/L at EFF-001D. Started enhanced secondary treatment, turned off remote stations during day to lighten flow and return flow at night when flow was low, put additional secondary online. Violation U eSMR
1082158 10/31/2020 CAT1 Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Weekly Average (Mean) limit is 45 mg/L and reported value was 170 mg/L at EFF-001D. We had already started poly addition and ferric addition and added the other clarifier, contacted the lab to start accelerated sampling. Violation U eSMR
1082160 10/24/2020 CAT1 Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) (5-day @ 20 Deg. C) Weekly Average (Mean) limit is 45 mg/L and reported value was 47 mg/L at EFF-001D. Put additional secondary clarifier in service to see if that would help with settelability issues. Violation U eSMR
1082157 10/10/2020 CAT1 Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) (5-day @ 20 Deg. C) Weekly Average limit is 45 mg/L and reported value was 50 mg/L at EFF-001D. At this point we stopped the leachate deliveries to the facilities as that was the most likely cause we thought. Initiated accelerated sampling. Violation U eSMR
