The pH readings measured on August 30 and September 1 and 7 were not collected using the standard ELAP certified pH probe; the probe had malfunctioned, and a new probe had to be ordered. These pH readings were conducted using a pH meter that is generally used to support the boiler chemistry analysis within the laboratory and requires a different calibration method. |
The ELAP certified probe was repaired and used for the September 11 pH reading and all remaining pH readings. The three analyses completed on August 30, September 1 and 7 have been added as monitoring discrepancies in CIWQS since calibration methods per our ELAP manual and standard pH monitoring were not adequately followed. |
