Selenium sample analysis was conducted using an alternative test procedure due to a malfunction in the laboratory¿s instrumentation. However, the laboratory did not notify me of this procedural change prior to conducting the analysis. As a result, the reported Selenium concentration was below 0.40 mg/L; however, the NPDES limit is 4.08 ug/L, which is below the MDL of the test used. |
Contacted the laboratory to explain NPDES limits and requirements. The laboratory will notify me if any changes to test methods are required before proceeding with the analysis. An alternative laboratory with the necessary equipment will analyze the sample if necessary. |

Chronic Toxicity-Green Alga-Growth 1-Hour Average (Mean) limit is 50 % effect and reported value was 82.62 % effect at EFF-001. |
The chlorine contact chamber was cleaned, and all accumulated sludge was removed. The chlorine injection point was repositioned to improve mixing efficiency, resulting in a more stable and controlled total chlorine residual. The target total chlorine residual of 1.5 mg/L is now being consistently maintained and monitored upstream of the sodium bisulfite application point.
In addition, the sodium bisulfite dosing system was modified to utilize an injector positioned over the mixing pump, enhancing chemical distribution. This optimization reduced sodium bisulfite usage from 6 gallons per day to 2.4 gallons per day. The green algae bioassay for October showed a successful result, with a percent effect of -39.31%.

Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Monthly Average (Mean) limit is 56 mg/L and reported value was 068.4 mg/L at EFF-001. |
We stopped lowering the water level in ponds 2 and 3 and reduced the effluent water flow. The second total suspended solids sample, collected on August 18, 2025, was below the maximum contaminant level; however, the monthly average still exceeded the limit. Furthermore, on August 27, 2025, all sludge was cleaned and removed from the chlorine contact chamber. |

Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Percent Removal Percent Reduction limit is 65.0 % and reported value was 58.4 % at EFF-001. |
There is nothing we can do to raise influent suspended solid levels, but we can lower effluent suspended solid levels by raising the chlorine dosage amount. We have raised the chlorine dosage from 19 GPD to 24 GPD. We will continue to closely monitor the situation with a goal of lowering the effluent suspended solid levels. |
