The date of the occurence, solids were heavy and some were released during a manual backwash. We have gone over the backwash sequence with all staff to ensure they wait the proper time, before putting the unit back in filtering mode. |

It was noted on 7/2 during morning rounds, that the contact basin had looked a little hazy. After investigation, we found that polymer was being slightly overdosed so we promptly made the necessary adjustments to the thickener system, which seem to have corrected the chlorine disinfection process. |
