Order Conditions |
The discharge of wastewater from the wet well to the unlined overflow basin is a violation of Discharge Prohibition A.3, which states, “Bypass or overflow of untreated or partially treated waste is prohibited.”
The failure to maintain the wet-well electrical system and influent flow meter, such that daily flow monitoring can occur is a violation of Provision F.4 which states, “The Discharger shall comply with Monitoring and Reporting Program No. R5-2007-01049, which is part of this Order, and any revisions thereto as Ordered by the Executive Officer.”
The failure to maintain the conveyance system control valves is a violation of Discharge Specification B5., which states, “The Discharger shall operate all systems and equipment to optimize the quality of treated effluent.”
The failure to conduct vegetation control in and around the wastewater ponds is a violation of Discharge Specification B.9, which states in part, “Wastewater ponds shall be managed to prevent breeding of mosquitoes. In particular, dead algae, vegetation, and debris shall not accumulate on the water surface.” |
