The temperature probe on one of the instruments was replaced and calibrated in late March, and we observed a 10 deg. F drop in readings from the older instrument to the new one. The instrument has since been replaced and calibrated. We are investigating the temperature issue to mitigate this event from happening in the future. |

Deficient Reporting |
Acute Toxicity Sampling was collected by Ironhouse Staff and relinquished to the FGL Lab Courier on February 7, 2023 at 1350 hours. Subsequently the sample was relinquished several more times prior to being received by ABC Labs on February 7, 2023 at 1700 hours. Apparently a janitor accepted delivery of the sample after normal business hours, thus preventing the analysis from being completed within a normal hold time.
Ironhouse staff were notified of the error on March 14, 2023. Therefore, resampling could not be completed within the required monitoring period and no results were reported. |
The contract laboratories are aware of the error. A letter from the lab is attached. |
