The Discharger submitted a cover letter from their contract laboratory which stated that BOD results for the week of 17 January 2026 could not be reported due to contamination of the laboratory¿s BOD dilution water storage tank. According to the laboratory, the contamination occurred when exterminators sprayed pesticides indoors for ant control during a period of heavy rain, and small amounts of pesticide entered the tank through air vents, affecting the BOD analysis. No additional response is needed at this time. |
