1118055 05/10/2023 OEV E.coli Instantaneous Maximum limit is 400 MPN/100 mL and reported value was 920 MPN/100 mL at EFF-001C. The E. Coli exceed the maximum allowable due to an operator error or a Laboratory error. I contacted Babcock Laboratories ELAP No. 2698 who ran the sample to review the sample, report, quality assurance, and quality control. At the Coachella Sanitary District the laboratory¿s Quality Assurance Manual and the Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) was reviewed. Training has occurred in-house on how to properly grab a sample and any other proper techniques in the laboratory with staff. Further training will conducted throughout the year. The E. Coli will be further monitored closely. This is the first E.Coli to exceed the allowable limit on this Board Order Permit as of June 2020. Violation U eSMR
