BFP has conducted BMP Improvements that are specifically designed to reduce aluminum, iron, turbidity, and COD levels in the storm water effluent. Over the past summer dry season, BFP contracted with an erosion control company to install new and replace existing erosion/sediment BMPs. BFP will continue to monitor aluminum, iron, turbidity, and COD levels closely to determine the effectiveness of these improvements and opportunities for additional measures that may be applied. A BMP Improvement Evaluation is also currently being conducted to address aluminum, iron, and COD. This evaluation will also include an evaluation of BMP improvements to improve turbidity.
