OEV |
pH Instantaneous Maximum limit is 9.0 SU and reported value was 9.24 SU at INT-001A. |
In August 2020 the monthly retention basin pH sample exceeded the upper pH limit (pH 9.0). The higher pH is likely attributed too warmer temperatures and algae blooms within the retention basin. Ongoing aeration and bacteria addition are routinely preformed to mitigate high pH level and TSS. |

In addition, on August 3, 2020 the pH for EFF-003 exceeded its hold time of fifteen (15) minutes. The EFF-003 sample and duplicate s were analyzed within eighteen (18) and seventeen (17) minutes of the collection time, respectively. |
The importance of the hold time was communicated during our annual NPDES training and the individual who had made the mistake during monitoring is no longer with AES. The responsibility of monitoring the outfall and retention basin samples has been transferred back to the lab technician. |
