Conservation Supporting Information
Description of conservation methods
Optimum water conservation efforts are ongoing and include, but are not limited to, good water management and farming practices such as, recirculation system, crop shifts, varietal changes, laser leveling of fields, weed abatement, and irrigation scheduling techniques. The total quantity of water conserved during each year is variable and depends upon numerous factors, including but not limited to climatic conditions, hydrologic conditions, and onfarm operational practices. Differentiating and measuring or quantifying conserved water for some efforts is not possible or feasible due to the complexity of the multiple variables involved.

Additional Remarks
Purpose of Use: The acreage identified in this report receives water under River Garden Farms Companys riparian claims, Statements of Water Diversion and Use S022168, and S022169, and its Settlement Contract with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Contract No. 14-06-200-878A-R-1. Amount of Water Diverted and Used: Water under River Garden Farms Companys water right License Nos. 1718 and 3123, and 4636 (Applications A000575 and A000577), and its Settlement Contract with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Contract No. 14-06-200-878A-R-1 and under the Companys Riparian claims, Statements of Water Diversion and Use S022168, and S022169, is diverted and conveyed using the same facilities. Monthly diversions are measured by Reclamation in accordance to the Settlement Contract (attached to the measurement device form). For the purposes of reporting, the measured diversions are allocated to the individual water right licenses and claims based on land use information and the priority if the water rights. The raw data set attached to this report is provided as-is, without any quality assurance and control performed. Therefore, the raw data set may contain erroneous data for numerous and various reasons. The raw data is evaluated and reviewed for quality assurance and control in order to report monthly diversions under the pertinent water right(s). The water right holder participated in a Water Transfer Program with the USBR in 2020 under which additional groundwater was pumped and served to the place of use in lieu of surface water deliveries under its Contract 14-06-200-878A-R-1. A total of 3,944 acre-feet of groundwater was pumped in lieu of surface water diversions under the Contract in 2020 for the purposes of a groundwater substitution transfer.
