Comments Water was licensed for use to fill the CalVada sawmill pond located northerly from the point of diversion. The POD is a dam across Moses Creek, which is currently opened to allow water to flow down the creek for the benefit of aquatic species and wildlife. Planning for the domestic use of this water for recreation and irrigation at the site of the former sawmill are in the beginning stages.

Description of water conservation efforts Water was allowed to stay in the watercourse (Moses Creek) for aquatic species and wildlife. The small pond remaining behind the dam is alive with non-fish aquatic species and is used as a watering hole for deer, bear, and numerous other species.

Additional Remarks
This water right is being preserved for future development of the parcel to which the right attaches: the mill pond at the former CalVada Sawmill. Currently, the water is allowed to pass through the small diversion dam for the benefit of aquatic species and wildlife.
