11a. Additional Remarks
Spanish Creek is a secondary source of water for Spanish Ranch irrigation, stock watering, domestic uses and fire prevention. This diversion is primarily used for dust control for the gravel extraction and rock crushing that occurs near this site, although some water is sent down the ditch system to the rest of the ranch.
