Description of water conservation efforts This project is connected as part of a regionwide collection and reuse of ag tailwater system. The District has and enforces water use and waste of water regulations. Water users are provided monthly detailed analysis using realtime crop water demand and water application efficiency. Irrigation efficiency evaluations are made available, upon request, to water users. Seasonal water use tracking, by field, is provided monthly. The District provides periodic preseason irrigation workshops in English and Spanish and publishes a periodic irrigation newsletter in conjunction with two neighboring agricultural water agencies. The amount of water conserved is based on the districts records of its recapture and reuse pump operation.
