c. Additional technology used
  • Flow Totalizer
Description of additional technology used Flow meter has instantaneous flow rate indicator and integrated flow totalizer.
d. Who installed your measuring device(s)
  • Other/Unknown: U.S. Bureau of Reclamation
e. Make, model number, and last calibration date of your measuring device(s)
f. Why direct measurement using a device listed in Section 1 is "not locally cost effective"
Explanation of why use of devices and technologies listed in Section 1 are "not locally cost effective"
g. Method(s) used as an alternative to direct measurement
Explanation of method(s) used as an alternative to direct measurement
6. Purpose of Use
Irrigation 2981 Acres
7. Changes in Method of Diversion

8. Conservation of Water
a. Are you now employing water conservation efforts? Yes
Describe any water conservation efforts you have initiated Optimum water conservation efforts are ongoing and include, but are not limited to, good water management and farming practices such as, re-circulation system, crop shifts, varietal changes, laser leveling of fields, weed abatement, and irrigation scheduling techniques. The total quantity of water conserved during each year is variable and depends upon numerous factors, including but not limited to climatic conditions, hydrologic conditions, and on-farm operational practices. Differentiating and measuring or quantifying conserved water for some efforts is not possible or feasible due to the complexity of the multiple variables involved. Therefore, the annual quantity of water conserved has not been quantified at this time.
b. Amount of water conserved 0 Acre-Feet
I have data to support the above surface water use reductions due to conservation efforts. No
9. Water Quality and Wastewater Reclamation
a. Are you now or have you been using reclaimed water from a wastewater treatment facility, desalination facility, or water polluted by waste to a degree which unreasonably affects such water for other beneficial causes? No
b. Amount of reduced diversion
Type of substitute water supply
Amount of substitute water supply used
I have data to support the above surface water use reductions due to the use of a substitute water supply
10. Conjuctive Use of Surface Water and Groundwater
a. Are you now using groundwater in lieu of surface water? No
b. Amount of groundwater used
I have data to support the above surface water use reductions due to the use of groundwater.
11a. Additional Remarks
Water under River Garden Farms Companys water right Licenses Nos. 1718 (A 575), 3123 (A 577), riparian claims, and Settlement Contract No. 14-06-200-878A-R-1 between the Company and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is diverted and conveyed through the same facilities. Monthly diversions are measured by Reclamation in accordance to the Settlement Contract. Land use information and order of priority are used to allocate a portion of the measured diversion to each water right. The sum of the diversion quantities identified in the Reports of Licensee for Licenses Nos. 1718 and 3123 and the two Supplemental Statements of Diversion and Use (S22168 and S22169) equal the total diversion measured and reported by Reclamation.
