The State Water Resources Control Board curtailed diversions under water right ID A007478 from May 27, 2014 to November 12, 2014. To comply with this Order, the El Dorado Irrigation District ceased all diversions under this water right, except for the public health and safety exemption. From September 9, 2014 to October 7, 2014, limited consumptive demands for this public system were met by trucking of treated water from the El Dorado Irrigation District main public water system due to the physical unavailability of water and water quality concerns in the Middle Fork Cosumnes River. On October 8, 2014, diversions from the Middle Fork Cosumnes River under the public health and safety exemption resumed and water trucking operations ceased. On November 26, 2014, normal diversions resumed when the curtailment was lifted. |
